This NAIDOC week, join us in celebrating the rich culture and heritage of Australia's First Nations people. Visit the Tradies Lounge between 2-9 June to explore the incredible artwork by Bobbi Lockyer and a captivating display of some of the past poster winners. These artistic expressions offer a unique perspective on the profound connection between art and indigenous heritage.
But that's not all! Mark your calendars for the main event on Saturday, 8th July. Make your way to Wooley St, opposite Dickson Taphouse, and be part of the smoking ceremony at 4 pm. This is an opportunity to witness and participate in a deeply significant cultural ritual. Prepare to be captivated by the sights, sounds, and scents that fill the air during this ceremony. If you've never had the opportunity to witness a smoking ceremony before, this is your chance to experience it. Followed by a cultural dance and music performance by Wiradjuri Echoes at The Tradies.
Remember this is a free community event and we wholeheartedly encourage you to bring your friends and family along.
