From grassroots sports to national charities with a local community focus, we're honoured to be associated with some of Canberra's most deserving causes.
Our support for Cerebral Palsy
Members and staff of The Dickson Tradies are proud supporters of the Cerebral Palsy Alliance ACT.
Cerebral Palsy is the most common physical disability in Australian children, affecting 1 in 700 babies. Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA) works closely with the families affected by Cerebral Palsy. CPA has been building futures for children, youth, and adults with Cerebral Palsy and other disabilities. They have over 75 years’ experience in pioneering treatments, harnessing technology, and leading global research efforts to prevent, treat and cure cerebral palsy.
Every year since 2012, The Tradies have been supporting CPA through our community contributions program to provide services and equipment to 500 families in the ACT. Click here to see how funds raised by the community are helping just one in many families.
